| On the southern shore of Lake Llanquihue, Puerto Varas is only 20 km. north of Puerto Montt. A quieter town compared to Puerto Montt (but only minutes away) with a pleasant waterfront and access to Peulla via Petrohue falls and All Saints Lake. We stayed at the Estrella Belen, a friendly B&B right next door to the Iglesia del Sagrado Corazon (Sacred Heart Church). Volcan Osorno can be seen right across the lake. |
